Edamames are green, and they are mean - mean with the goodness of soy. Abundant in China, Japan and Korea, these little soybeans are quite popular in Asia as appetizer, dish or just a snack.
Here in the states, Edamames are served in almost any sushi restaurant. But you can also find packaged Edamames in your local grocery chain. (We got ours from Sam's, by the way.) You just pop them in the microwave for 3 minutes and spread some salt.
Instead of greasy chips and buttery popcorn, we had Edamames for snack during a movie. They were a much healthier choice, which I hope your will pick too.
