Flannels are back! Or have they ever left?Tuesday morning, a typical gray day in Seattle, I stepped off the bus just in time to see this tall Asian girl in the most fabulous fashion: A long, flowing blue and white flannel shirt over skinny jeans. To make this outfit even more fashionable, she wore a pair gold gladiator flats and a hobo-style messenger bag in cream.
She looked so good I could not stop watching her cross the street!!!!
Then I hit the stores downtown Seattle during lunch and guess what? Flannels were EVERYWHERE - American Eagle, H&M, Macy's...you name it!
No, I don't think flannels ever went away. But this season they are enhanced with better style both sexy and street.
If you believe the grunge era in the 90's was Seattle's heyday for flannel fashion, think again! The best of flannels have yet to hit the streets of Emerald City!
