It takes a lot to be the queen bee of fashion: attitude, raw talent, and all the venti-sized lattes in the world. But Rachel Zoe masters at her job with a consistent sense of style that's often imitated but never duplicated.
Like all other reality TV shows, the drama could go, like the catty fights between assistants Taylor and Brad - so not necessary! But I do love the fashion and Rachel Zoe's immaculate sense of style: layers of jewelry overwhelming a simple silk dress, big snow white fur top over leggings, parading in over-the-top stilettos...Rachel Zoe is bold and that's why she's the queen bee of fashion and a new diva with her show, The Rachel Zoe Project, on the Bravo Network.

From old fashioned hunks like George Clooney to buff newcomer Channing Tatum, we love our studs! But in fall of 2009, we will see studs in a different light. I'm talking about sexy, shiny bling on clothes, shoes, bags and more. This season, all things we girlie girls love are being studded into something edgy, rock n' roll and a style that will catch everyone's eye, including those hunky studs we love!
Well, they are not geeky, but they are adorable. And this fall, they are in! Headbands are now the most wanted accessories. But if you are picturing the thick and bright headbands of the 80's, you are so wrong! (And you are living in the wrong era.) Headbands now are cute and trendy. Some of them even define your outfit.
They are sold about everywhere. I know! Accessibility is always a plus. They are cheap too. You can pick one up for around $5 at drug stores, discount shopping marts (like Target), or at trendy shops such as Urban Outfitters.
Band geek? Hardly! More like...Glam Goddess!
Flannels are back! Or have they ever left?
Tuesday morning, a typical gray day in Seattle, I stepped off the bus just in time to see this tall Asian girl in the most fabulous fashion: A long, flowing blue and white flannel shirt over skinny jeans. To make this outfit even more fashionable, she wore a pair gold gladiator flats and a hobo-style messenger bag in cream.
She looked so good I could not stop watching her cross the street!!!!
Then I hit the stores downtown Seattle during lunch and guess what? Flannels were EVERYWHERE - American Eagle, H&M, Macy's...you name it!
No, I don't think flannels ever went away. But this season they are enhanced with better style both sexy and street.
If you believe the grunge era in the 90's was Seattle's heyday for flannel fashion, think again! The best of flannels have yet to hit the streets of Emerald City!
Layered and tiered, this summer, unique architecture makes the perfect dress. We like something that moves as we move, which can be both eye-catching and becoming. This tiered format can make the most boring floral fun and the most innocent pastels flirty. Plus, it's a match for any type of shoes: flats, gladiators or silver stilettos - pick your poison, girls!
All girlie girls love lingerie! But one of our favorite places has GOT to be Victoria's Secret. The company makes amazing stuff like miracle bras that enhance your boobies and boy shorts that are sexied with lace.
Every time I visit Victoria's Secret, I find something to fall in love with. Today, I found one of the best lines, Victoria's Secret BioFit Uplift bra. The making of this bra took a more logical and scientific approach, where the focus is on creating a lift that is more custom-made: as the cup size increases, the padding decreases. This philosophy attempts to create a more natural look and comfortable feel.
My purchase today was the BioFit Uplift bra in "all over lace" - pretty black lace over soft beige. The fit was just as the bra was intended in design - natural, comfortable and uplifting.

While lower Queen Anne is a busy scene, upper Queen Anne is quite and quaint. You will often find older couples strolling hand in hand and young siblings run and dance. Still, up on top of the Queen Anne hill, there are quite a few places you can have fun at. They are just a lot more relaxed, but still yuppy.
Welcome to Bricco! It's a sexy, little wine bar that resides right on Queen Anne Ave, between cross streets of Galer and Garfield.
As you walk in, you will notice a wall full of wine on the right and the bar is on the left. In addition to an extensive wine menu, Bricco also serves a selection of mixed cocktails and the best espresso I have ever had.
All my girlfriends know that I LOVE a bubbly glass of Muscato. And the Muscato D'Asti I had at Bricco was nothing less than perfect! But then I was sent to heaven when I met panna cotta - thanks to my generous friend!
Around 9, Bricco dimmed the lights and brought out the candles. And in the sexy, flickering candle light, we finished our evening in this lovely winebar on top of the Queen Anne hill. And I am definitely going back!

This Spring, expect a lot of color, especially the hottest pink. Sometimes we just need a splash of deliciously bright hue to brighten our days.
Expect funky texture and flirty details, and most of all bold, pink color that makes you completely girlie and totally hot.
Look who's back? Sexy leopard prints and sophisticated zebra stripes! Animal prints are back in a big way! This season, the wilder the better! Why don't you sex it up in a mini? Top it with a tank? Or even do it up as a cocktail dress? Whatever you decide, you will be stylin' in the wild.

Miss Freida Pinto, starlet of Slumdog Millionaire, looked absolutely radiant in this jewel-colored one-shoulder dress. Although her fashion choice at the Oscars caused mixed reviewed, I'm so glad she chose this fun, flirty one-shouldered style that's sexy but also classy. Plus, the color is just gorgeous next to her perfect cream skin.
Some fashion looks good only on the runways. But this one-shoulder style survived real ways as well. Its asymmetric shape is both flattering and youthful. I hope the one-shoulder style is here to stay, at least for a while.
